To move your character around in the world, you can just write the direction, east will take you to the east if it is possible

This is a very useful command for interplayer-communication. Sure, the
social commands are good, but they do not
cover ALL the emotions you wish to express. Issuing this command lets the
other characters see your name, followed by the

The 'equipment' command list all objects currently used and what you use them for. Some objects can be used for several purposes.
It is important that you eat food. Different types of food will fill your stomach for different time periods, thus making a cracker less filling than a big bread. If you begin to grow hungry, you will stop regaining your points. At this time you will start to get messages, indicating this. If you refuse to eat, you will start loosing hitpoints. In the end you will die. So remember to carry a little spare food around.
Exits will give you a list of possible exits in a room. It will not show hidden or secret exits. An exit is how you leave a room. If a room has no exits you will have to find an alternate way to leave the room.
If you use the 'change exits' command it will toggle on and off weather or not see automatically see exits by default as you walk around the game.
Sometimes you will be able to enter various things on the mud. Such as a canoe. If you wish to enter something, you can use this command. If the thing you wish to enter is not an item, enter will work as if you moved in a direction, except, it will use the keyword to determine where to move you.
This command enables you to extinguish a torch or a lamp or whatever light source you are carrying.

They tend to be less robust than humans and have an understanding with brownies. Elves maintain the forests through gentler spell weavings while brownies use their sorcery to protect them. Elves despise all of goblinkind (orcs, hobgoblins, goblins).

Experience is usually gained by killing monsters. The experience you gain is relative to your level compared to the monsters level.
You gain no experience when killing players.You can have a good, evil or neutral alignment. Evil alignments range from -350 to -1000, with -1000 being ultimately evil. Killing good aliment mobiles will make you more 'evil'. If your alignment should reach -1000, it will stay there unless you perform a quest to have it changed.
You use this command to exchange money into different currencies.
Examples:This command is used to get information on objects. It will tell you the weight and when appropriate the size of objects.
Evaluate can also be used at some blacksmiths to evaluate the quality of weapons, armors and shields. See sign at smithy's for further information.
Endurance (displayed in your score) determines, among other things, how far you can move. If for example you move a long way in a very short time you get too exhausted to move, you'll then have to rest for a while and wait for your endurance to be regained.
Magic is a common enitity in Valhalla. There are magic objects such as
armor,
staves,
scrolls etc. There are
magic users,
those that use magic in their day to day life in order to survive and of
course there are magic spells.
Basically your magic ability is the energy
from which magic Users draw their
power.
Magical Essence determines:
The standard issue spell of the conjurer, this spell summons a bolt of magical energy from the casters hand to strike the target.
This sphere enables you to conjure and control electricity. It therefore require a good constitution.

When cast, this spell causes the player upon whom it is cast to lose 5 STR and 5 CON for a long duration, as well as 50 experience points permanently. The spell will fail if the victim has a life protection spell cast on them self.
